Lab Director Isuru Godage, Ph.D. Dr. Godage is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing, DePaul University, Chicago, USA. His research interests are soft modular robotics, surgical robotics, modeling and analysis of continuum structures, and underactuated system control/ coordination through energy-based methods.Prior to his current appointment, he held an Adjoint Assistant Professorship at Vanderbilt University, Postdoctoral Research Scholarships under Prof. Robert J. Webster III at Vanderbilt University and Prof. Ian D. Walker at Clemson University. Dr. Godage graduated from the University of Moratuwa [B.Sc Eng (Hons) First Class] in Sri Lanka in Electronic and Telecommunication engineering in 2007 and Italian Institute of Technology–University of Genova [Ph.D.] in 2013.
